The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is partnering with Future Ancestors and other regulatory health colleges for a workshop series to explore equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and within the therapeutic relationship.
This two-part workshop series will hold space for participants to build their capacity in critically articulating their worldviews and the consequential relationships with work and self. As this self-reflective practice becomes naturalized, participants have the opportunity to more effectively and ethically contribute to fostering anti-racist work places and relationships.
Key concepts explored in the workshop series include worldview, intersectionality, identity, (micro)aggressions, bias, and critical self-reflection.
Materials from the sessions will be distributed in mid-October.
